Flip the shirts inside out before washing. This will keep the image on the shirt vibrant and clear for many wash cycles. The shirts are very soft, so putting the jerseys in a mesh bag while washing also helps to mitigate pilling. Wash Gently. Flippy suggests washing T-shirts and Jerseys with cold water and hang drying or drying delicates to avoid wrinkles and mitigate pilling.
Wash with like-clothes and like-colors. By washing light colors together, you reduce the risk of a white T-Shirt becoming grey or even getting colored by another garment. Also, washing with similar fabrics will help keep the more delicate fabrics safe (Think jeans rubbing against a delicate shirt).
